Should improve grip. Will have to wait and see how it is in ice and snow. Includes screws suck. Phillips head with softer stainless steel is a poor combination and should be changed. I elected to use different screws as several stripped

Gets the job done

They provide very good grip and come with installation screws. My only comment is that the screws should be black instead of silver to match the stair treads. Otherwise would give 5 stars.
